The Power Equipment Man UA-cam channel started with a simple goal in mind - educate the customer. We wanted to give the consumer simple and accurate information, from a mechanics point of view, about the machines or products they were interested in buying. But the channel evolved quickly as we soon saw a demand for products that our viewers wanted that weren't readily available.
With a passion for creating and a mind for business, Jonas set out to develop the products needed to meet the demands of our viewers. Along the way we built relationships with several great companies and individuals that have helped us take our business to the next level. Everyday we push to innovate great new products that meet the needs of our customers.

I think your super smart.i put a 6 inch spindel jakes lift and my tires are wacked.i bought these struts but either top tire leans in or if i switch bolt hole leans out.i try to move the shock like you did and doesnt change.im so frustrated
You are loading it kinda wrong. Spin the top and hold the bottom. Prevents string from tangling up.

There should be some mention as to blade balance with respect to wear this guy doesn't really seem to have any in depth knowledge of what he is addressing here. This sounds more like a promo video for Gator.
It sounds like you're a mower blade expert? I just checked your youtube channel and didn't see any videos. Feel free to share a link here to your video as soon as you post it.
For me the carbide is useless, carbide is brittle and once a rock chips it how are you going to sharpen the blade?? The only way is going to be with silicone carbide belts or a diamond blade grinder.
Excellent tutorial, thank you

I had an opportunity to test out a Yamaha drive to quiet tech 2019 and the gas fumes was unbearable. What would cause such high gas films?
It seems like some carts are worse than others. I think a lot of it has to do with the condition and quality of fuel that is in them.
What would you consider a lot of hours on a Quiet tech. Is 1400 hundred hours a lot 2019 model
What is considered as a lot of hours or miles on a Yamaha quiet tech 2019? I’m going to look at a Yamaha quiet tech. The gentleman tells me it has 1400hrs or 1400 miles on golf cart please help
Since most fleet models don't come with hour meters, it's tough to determine what a "normal" engine life span is. As long as it was maintained well, I would guess that 1400 hours is about half way through it's engine life. That being said, 1400 hours and 1400 miles are two completely different things. I'm sure that it didn't drive 1 mph, so there is no way that it would have 1400 hours and 1400 miles at the same time. 1400 miles would only be about 5 or 6 tanks of fuel, so very low miles. I would assume that they just mean 1400 hours.
Great informative video. I have bought products from you before online, but just subscribed today. I have ZT 3400's on my mower and this video has definitely helped me. Thanks. I may even produce a video on my channel when I service my hydros.
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
I have a 2008
Great machine. Thanks for watching!
Can you recommend a Yamaha quiet golf cart for hunting regardless of year?
Quietechs are great all around carts. Very few changes have been made since they were released in 2017. So any model year of Quietech from 2017 to now would be good. They did change the exhaust duct in 2020 and newer models, which may be beneficial to you if you are driving in dry grass.
One of my rear tires eats the corner off the tire more than any other tire on the cart. I see no way to correct this on the rear. Help please.
It is most likely worn bushings on the rear hub that need to be replaced.
Mine sucks. Cuts out and acts like it’s starving for fuel turning a certain way or mowing on hills. Seems like a common prob by what I’ve read this morn
I have a gator blade from Oregon it's so noisy compared to original Its like a airplane engine turbine
Yes, any blade with more lift is going to create more noise.
Are you able to use pedal start with the V-Twin?
No. It is key start only.
@@PowerEquipmentMan I ask because if I ever build one it will also be used for golfing in addition to hunting and utility vehicle work, the v-twin probably isn’t a viable option in a golf setting. Would you agree?
@@austinkmiec8741 I would definitely not recommend using a vtwin in a golfing application.
Are there any videos or instructions for the Team Transaxle hi speed gear upgrade? Can’t really find much on the forums either. Just bought one for my 2011 but I’m trying to find some literature before I go ripping away at it!
Sorry but we have not done a video no them. But here is a video that another guy did that might help - ua-cam.com/video/3UQtOE8huMk/v-deo.htmlsi=jJnaLuQFCiBUtTck
They should have recalled these machines and did the upgrades that would’ve been the right thing to do
I got mine today and put it on already. Went on easy
That's great to hear. Thank you for your business!
What is torque on Case bolts after closing the case
Can you use this on a e scooter too?
It is battery powered, so you could use it on anything.
Does the 420 predator come with an alternator?
Yes, but it is a very low output alternator. I believe they are rated at about 3 amps, so just enough to trickle charge the battery. Not enough to really run any accessories.
Do you have a video for a team transaxle?
No sorry. But here is a video that another guy did that might help - ua-cam.com/video/3UQtOE8huMk/v-deo.htmlsi=jJnaLuQFCiBUtTck
How much is this kit

If you can afford a new golf cart you can afford for $4 or $5 per gallon for ethanol free fuel! A golf carts not going to use that much fuel compared to a car! Just get the better fuel!
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
What years are the "early" one? Just curious. I recently bought a very low hour 2010 model 36" Fast Tack SD. Its a retirement project for me. Happy to improve it if needs be. Thank you for the great presentation!
Your Fastrak should not have any of the issues listed in this video. These were just issues with the Raptor SD models. Thanks for watching!
@@PowerEquipmentMan Thank you. Relieved to know that. It struck me as being built like a tank. The guy at the church I bought it from warned me to be careful learning how to run a ZT. He said it'll blow right thru a chain link fence if you're not careful. The other guys just smiled at him.
The bracket broke on my hustler. Hustler did not back it up. I was out. Too bad I really liked the hustler mower, now bought a john deere
Scag makes a nice mulch blade that bump in it, but also the teeth on the end. I get best results with the Scag mulch blade.
Thanks for watching!
I can’t seem to find any info anywhere, but can you remove the efi and downgrade to the carb easily?
No. You would have to change a ton of parts. Would probably be cheaper to just buy a carbureted cart. You really wouldn't gain anything by doing that either.
Thanks.
Nice, but you don't describe why this is important to do.
Adjusting valves is part of Yamaha's regular maintenance schedule. Having valves that are too tight or lose can cause decreased performance. Thanks for watching!
I didn't hear you mention what weight oil to use anywhere. I get the filters at John Deere for $8.50 each
There is a lot of debate on what weight of oil to use and synthetic vs non-synthetic, so I do not want to comment on that for liability reasons. I recommend purchasing the Hydro-gear complete service kit. They aren't that expensive, and ensure that you are getting the correct oil and filters.
@@PowerEquipmentMan I am using the filters from John Deere that made the mower. They said it uses 10w/30 motor oil. My bad boy.hydro.gear 5400's use 20w/50 motor oil
Out of stock😢
Someday I’ll be able to afford to move to a cart friendly part of the city and buy one of these…
Thanks for watching!
I just purchased a Yamaha G29 Drive with a 6” lift kit, 14” wheels, with 23” tires. Little did I know, this is a dangerously unstable machine! Fortunately I saw your U-Tube video on your Sway Bar Kit. It stabilized the cart just as you said it would!!! Easily installed with a set of 9/16” wrenches & a 3/8” bit & drill! It now drives like a dream! I ordered it one morning & received it the following afternoon! FREE SHIPPING! Packaged in a compact, neatly organized box! I highly recommend this product!!! Mike Lane Springfield, Mo
Thank you for the great review. We really appreciate your business Mike!
This helped me with my left and rights lol
Thanks for watching!
I bought a G22 with some water intrusion issues and as I'm replacing all the transaxle bearings and seals this video was invaluable. Cleaning the nasty brown (rust/water/gear oil) sludge is a pain, but my biggest concert is in hoping that the light pitting on all the internal gears from the surface corrosion isn't going to give me problems long term. Never the less. Having this video was nice in seeing how everything comes apart and goes back together. Thanks.
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
I think you turned/tightened that bottom spring cap retaining nut the wrong way?
I assume that you are talking about the big nut that is on the shock body? No, what is shown in the video is correct. You should be tightening the nut down against the fixed part of the shock. If you ran the nut up on the shock (towards the spring) it wouldn't do anything.
Very informative video. Thank you. I was sharpening the blades on my rider and noticed the wings were pretty wore down. It's time for some new blades.
Thanks for watching!
Would this also apply to a 2016 Yamaha Drive Gas-Carb?
ua-cam.com/video/GBsD3hF2skk/v-deo.html
send me the link to part 2 please!
You never want your blades razor sharp... The most you want is a 25,000 radius... Most people don't realize that... The most you want to cut for height is a third of what your grass is talk... And also if your blade is not Bent any more than 1/8 of an inch it's perfectly fine to use... Remember if your blade is bent and it's not over a eight of a inch run out your perfectly fine to use it
Do you have a starter belt replacement video? Thanks!
Not at this time, sorry.
Do you ever work on a Yamaha g2 gas? Wanting more speed and get up and go out of it.
Sorry, we don't deal with anything older than the G29.
Hey great video. I was going to have my wife buy me a light bar for Father’s Day. I need a fast track light bar. When will one be available? Thanks
FOOEY I put the Madjax Ultimate light kit on my Yamaha and they look GREAT. The have a smooth ckear lens which follow the body contours. They are LED and I have had a lot of compliments on them.
This video is pretty old, and at that time, there were only a few options on Drive2 light kits. Now, there are tons of options for the Drive2. We now use/sell a different kit that looks just like the OEM lights. Thanks for watching!
My 2800s have “internal expansion tanks”. They were a pain to keep the fluid topped up during purge. Those external tanks seem far easier to deal with, both changing fluid and monitoring oil level between changes. I wonder if it’s viable to pull the breather vent plug and install an external tank kit…
If your machine has the internal expansion tanks, you will refill them using the special fitting that comes with the hydrogear service kit. It pumps the oil back in though the air bleeder hole. It's easy to do, just gotta have that fitting.
Did it half way and increased an easy 5 mph. Appreciate it
Thanks for watching!
Does this fit the X model?
Yes, this light kit can be installed on a Raptor X. You will most likely have to drill 2 holes in the front to mount the light bar.
You think this could handle 4 acres? The 60 inch deck.
I would recommend a Fastrak for 4 acres.
